Passion projects.
I’ve been creating sports social content for my personal platforms since 2018. I’ve created well over 300 designs up to date. I take influence from sports affiliated accounts, professional team accounts, lifestyle and sport brands.
Colossal Mashups.
I’ve always been a fan of large numbers of player cut outs and experimenting with scale and composition settings. These both serve as good examples of pushing the creativity with the constraints of using 32 total players (one from each team).
Championships.
The Florida Panthers (now back to back stanley cup champions) have been extremely dominant. The OKC Thunder now have a superstar in SGA among a great roster. I wanted to showcase the pivotal matchups in their 2025 Finals’ appearances. The Pacers are an exciting watch as well, Haliburton has been electric. The focus here is to create a dynamic look with difference of scale, solid hierarchy and player cut outs full of emotion.
Individual Player Focused.
SGA (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander) and Josh Allen. Both MVP’s of their respective leagues. Two tremendous leaders who put everything on the line for their team. Each of these contains a ton of styling and custom work.
NFL Wallpapers.
I created phone wallpapers for the entire 16-team NFC conference. These 3 above were the best results from that set. Each has similar styling/elements throughout but with specific team colors, marks, logos, etc.
Minimalist.
On the opposite side of the spectrum from the top projects shared, my minimalist design also has a strong grasp on design that can deliver without doing too much. By utilizing scale the left design and repetitive elements on the design on the right, I was able to accomplish solid composition.
Information Based.
Whether it’s statistic based or a list generated off of industry analysts, creation of design to display information has been something of a forte for me. Especially considering my time with OddsChecker US I created a large volume of work that’s goal was to communicate lists of odds, parlays, etc.
Accolades & Achievements.
Such a large portion of sports design, regardless of which sports league, or sports news production, will invent fresh looks to showcase awards, records, odds for a player or team. In the above works, NFL MVP odds in the 2023 season were displayed as the season neared a close. On the MLB design, an accolade for a specific MLB pitcher is showcased.
