Educational Animal Layouts
Back in 2018, I challenged myself to create type/image blended images that served to tell facts about a specific species of animal. I ended up creating 15-20 total image. I grew up loving animals and had tons of creatively designed books with informational graphics. This was just my own passion project to test out my design skills at the time.
Jellyfish.
Each of these layouts starts first and foremost with the most exciting image of a particular species I could locate. I used unsplash as my image source. Jellyfish are fascinating, I knew I wanted to focus on creatures that were extraordinary.
Critters.
Even the smallest creatures have a story. From spiders to bees and birds, each species represents a vital part of the habitat. I wanted to represent that.
Birds & Lizards.
As the story goes, typically the most colorful and interesting animals on the globe find themselves in jungles and islands. This is apparent for both birds and lizards. Again, the main focus on these is the photo selection and focus of type.
